The collaboration between Sandra Medeiros (soprano) and Francisco Sassetti (piano) began in 2003, and since then the duo has performed at the Gulbenkian Museum, at Palácio Foz, at CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém (Dias da Música and Bom dia Música), at Grémio Literário (Lisbon), at Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, at Franco-Portuguese Institute, at the Temporada de Música Açores and Temporada Artística Açores (Faialense Theatre in Faial Island, Velas Municipal Auditorium in São Jorge Island, Colégio Church in São Miguel Island, Auditorium of Cultural Center in Graciosa Island/Azores), at Micaelense Theatrer (S.Miguel Island/Azores), at Angrense Theatre (Terceira Island/Azores), at the Concert Series Musicando (Montemor and Évora), at the Concert Series Música nos Claustros and Música no Inverno (Évora), at the Concert Series Encontros sonoros atlãnticos, at Festival of the arts (Coimbra) and at the Sociedad Union Theatre (San Carlos / Uruguay).
The duo has a wide repertoire with a large variety of styles and languages that extends from the 16th century to our days, and it already has more than a dozen recital programs some of which recorded by RDP (portuguese radio station), RTP play and RTP-A (portuguese television). The duo pays particular attention to the dissemination of the Portuguese repertoire by including, in some of its programs, compositions - some of them little known - by Portuguese composers from the Baroque period to the Contemporary one. Since its creation it has presented absolute premieres, some of which composed especially for the duo.
Sandra Medeiros and Francisco Sassetti recorded on CD Três canções para canto e piano sobre poemas de Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues (Three songs for voice and piano on poems by Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues), composed by Emanuel Frazão, to integrate the catalogue of tribute to the Azorean poet and writer on the occasion of his 120th  birthday.
